Approvals & Permissions

Claude Code asks before doing anything consequential. 16code makes those prompts workable from a phone without making them annoying.

Chat mode

A built-in rule engine triages each request:

• Read-only and safe actions — approved automatically, no interruption.
• File edits — applied, with the diff shown as a card in the chat so you can review what changed (and open the full file in a tab).
• Deletions and dangerous commands — the session pauses and you get explicit Allow / Deny buttons. Nothing destructive runs without your tap.

You'll also get a notification when a session is waiting on you, so approvals don't silently stall a task.

Terminal mode

The prompt is Claude Code's own, answered inside the terminal — use the on-screen key bar (arrows, Enter, Esc, y/n) on touch devices. 16code never answers on your behalf in this mode; every keystroke is yours.
